Question: “Assume you have absolutely NO restrictions and you could live anywhere in the world. Where would you live and why?”
One place that right away comes to mind: Ireland.
Wishing that I had taken this photo… “I never knew there was this much green in the galaxy.”
In the ’80s, I journeyed to see my sister, who was living in Germany at the time. It was my first trip on an airline, which is a whole other story. (Lost luggage, a six-hour layover at O’Hare, and an invasive security checkpoint.) I don’t love flying, I guess.
But on the return trip, our path took us over the coast of Ireland and I caught a brief glimpse of gorgeous verdant rolling hills. Sitting back in my window seat, I daydreamed about traveling to the Emerald Isle someday. It hasn’t yet happened, but I can still hope to see it in person.
